Applied Engineering to Host Morning Engineering Event Featuring Tyler Shewbert

Coffee, Controls & Innovation at Applied Engineering

On June 17th, Applied Engineering will host a special morning event bringing together engineers, manufacturers, and industry professionals for a discussion on electrical standards, industrial controls, and emerging manufacturing technologies.

The event will feature a presentation from Tyler Shewbert of Eaton Aerospace Bussmann Group focused on the “Intersection of UL508 and the National Electrical Code (NEC)” — an increasingly important topic for OEMs, panel builders, and manufacturers navigating today’s evolving electrical and safety requirements.

Attendees will gain insight into:

  • How UL508 standards interact with NEC requirements

  • Common challenges in industrial control panel compliance

  • Best practices for modern electrical system design

  • Considerations for safety, reliability, and manufacturability

In addition to the technical presentation, guests will also have the opportunity to experience live 3D printing demonstrations showcasing how additive manufacturing is continuing to support rapid prototyping, custom tooling, and modern manufacturing workflows.
