Applied Engineering is excited to welcome Michael Tanguay as our new Director of Business Development.

Michael brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in automation, robotics, advanced manufacturing, engineering, and business development. Throughout his career, he has helped technology companies transform innovative ideas into production-ready products while building lasting customer partnerships across the semiconductor, robotics, medical technology, and industrial automation industries.

From leading global engineering teams and overseeing complex automation projects to earning 12 U.S. patents, Michael has built a career focused on innovation and helping customers solve challenging manufacturing problems. His recent thought leadership on the evolution of mechatronics and robotics reflects his belief that the future of manufacturing depends on integrating engineering, automation, software, and intelligent systems to create smarter solutions.

That vision aligns closely with Applied Engineering's mission. As Director of Business Development, Michael will focus on developing strategic partnerships and helping customers successfully transition complex products from prototype to production.
